Susan Bussey
Vice President, Project Administration & Marketing
A graduate of SUNY Cortland with additional graduate study in healthcare administration at SUNY Brockport, Susan is an accomplished management professional, experienced in steering and directing all aspects of assisted living and adult homes including operations, administration, budgeting and staff development. Her particular strength in marketing and census building is an asset to the Living Communities team, which she joined in 2008 as Vice President for Project Administration & Marketing, acting as the Executive Director for Rivers Run. Susan spearheads the marketing initiatives and full-time operations of 82 independent living apartments and 67 cottage homes as well as the overall marketing initiatives for Living Communities. She coordinates the ramp-up of apartment units, develops policies and procedures, oversees the hiring and training of staff and the overall coordination of Rivers' Run daily operations.
Susan is active in the community as a Board Member of the Empire State Association of Assisted Living, as well as Past Steering Committee Member of the Mutual Aid of Rochester.
