"If All of Rochester Read the Same Book...." 2012

Founded in 1981, Writers & Books is one of the oldest and largest community-based literary centers in the United States.  The organization was founded on the belief that the written and spoken word are central to our lives and culture.

Writers & Books' mission is to promote reading and writing as life-long activities for people of all ages and background.

Rivers Run will hosting a reading club featuring "The Madonnas of Leningrad" in February and March. Specific dates and times will be available soon.

Ongoing Programs

RIT Monthly Campus Tours

Presented by Rivers Run

Increase your familiarity with the RIT campus and the Gordon Field House by taking a guided bus tour from Rivers Run to the RIT campus. This tour is accommodating to both those who want to walk and those who would rather remain seated on the bus. 

AAA Defensive Driving

AAA’s defensive driving course is a six hour course sponsored by AAA and approved by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles.  Upon completion of this course, you may be eligible to reduce as many as four (4) points from your driving record.  You will also receive a 10% reduction on the collision and liability portion of your automobile and motorcycle insurance premiums.  Register for this class through AAA: at nyaaa.com.  Member price is $35.00, Non-member price is $41.00, Rivers Run price is $27.00.
