Brain Health and Wellness with Dr. Lynn Lazarus Serper
Rivers Run and Lifespan are proud to present another evening with Dr. Lynn Lazarus Serper, author of the book 'Brainstorming, the Serper Method™ of Brain Recovery, Regrowth and Vitality, four Serper Method™ workbooks and one Serper Booster™ supplemental workbook. The lecture will be held on November 19th at 7:00pm at the Rivers Run Lecture Hall. For more information and to RSVP, please contact Sharon at 292-5440. Seating is limited.
The Riparian at Rivers Run Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
On October 30, Rivers Run celebrated the opening of The Riparian at Rivers Run with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Attending the ceremony were Living Communites President Pat Tobin, Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks, Monroe County Clerk Cheryl Dinolfo, Henrietta Town Supervisor Michael Yudelson and RIT Senior VP of Finance & Administration James Watters.

Rivers Run Introduces New Menu
We are proud to introduce a new experience in dining. Impressions Fine Dining Restaurant offers a fresh new experience in innovative, healthy dining. Executive Chef Matthew Cole has created a menu that reflects choices to promote heart and brain wellness. The menu also incorporates Vegetarian and Vegan choices and well as Gluten free options. Rivers Run Flu Shot Clinic Scheduled for November 20

Rivers Run Wins Community Excellence
Award
On May 6, 2008, Rivers Run received the Outstanding Facility Design & Construction Award at the Henrietta Chamber of Commerce Twenty-Second Annual Community Excellence Awards Celebration at the RIT Inn and Conference Center.
The award was given to an individual or business that enhanced the Henrietta Area by encouraging continued growth, restoration and/or environmental stewardship. Awards were given that evening in the categories of Distinguished Business Awards, Educational Initiatives, and Community Enrichment.
Artisan Works and Living Communities form the city’s first Living Arts Center
Community Members will enjoy the opportunity to engage and discuss original art exhibits at Rivers Run this fall. Through our new partnership with Artisanworks, Rivers Run will be the home of great works of art from local artists. Original art pieces will be displayed in the main common areas and each of the three floors of our new Independent Living Apartment building. Artisanworks curators and Living Communities designers will choose rotating exhibits, the most notable to be hosted in the main dining facility. The program and partnership will kick-off with a grand opening and artist reception. More details to available soon.
